The worries about AI and creative work are real. We share them. So we drew a line, and we hold it.
We understand the risk
The fear around AI and jobs, authenticity, and craft is not hype. It is the conversation every studio is having right now, and we are having it too. We are designers first, sixteen years of it, and we have no interest in a tool that hollows the work out. If AI only exists to make creative people cheaper or more disposable, we want no part of it.
But that is not the only version of this. There are good uses of AI, and pretending otherwise is its own kind of dishonesty.
Automate the parts designers dread. Protect the parts they got into this for
We mean that literally. The tasks a designer would happily hand off, the note-taking, the chasing, the who-said-what after a call, those are fair game. The judgment and the taste stay human. So does the actual designing. Every tool we make is measured against that line.
The belief has a name
Robin, our AI project manager for creative teams.
Robin sits in on client feedback so a designer does not have to translate a messy call into a to-do list from memory. The loop is three steps, and the last one is the point.
Share feedback. A client meets Robin on a call. Any day, any time, no small talk, no calendar tennis. They talk through what they want changed, in their own words.
Robin makes it a ticket. Robin captures the feedback and the moment it happened, and turns the loose, verbal notes into a clear, structured brief. Nothing slips between the call and the work.
A human starts designing. That brief lands with a designer, who does the one thing only a designer can do. The work. Robin never touches the design, and just gets everything else out of the way first.
What we commit to
Social impact. We build AI that hands creative work back to the people who love doing it. We judge ourselves on one question. Are designers doing more of the work only a human can do, or less.
Work-life balance. Our model protects people's time. Senior-only, founder-led, no junior grind and no midnight status calls. The tools we build pull the same way, so the hours go to the craft and the evenings stay theirs.
Elevate, not replace
That is the whole mission.
Give designers back the hours the busywork was taking, and let them spend those hours on the craft. If that is the kind of studio you want to work with, or work for, you are in the right place.
